Feature

●For a waste heat recovery type gas absorption chiller-heater (Gene-Link), its cooling capability is as low as 211 kW (60 USRT).
The Gene-Link mini EXKJ series consists of four models, including those with 246 kW (70 USRT), 281 kW (80 USRT) and 352 kW (100 USRT) specifications.

 

● Significant energy saving effect
Comparing with existing small-type gas absorption chiller-heaters (our conventional models*1) that have been operating for over 15 years, the amount of gas consumed during cooling mode can be reduced by approx. 25%.
In addition, by utilizing the waste hot water from the gas engine generator, the amount of gas used can be reduced by approx. 39%.

 

● Standard outdoor installation
Outdoor installation is standard for Gene-Link mini so it can be installed alongside a small-type gas engine generator which they are most often installed outdoors. Thermal insulations are already done at the factory before shipment so construction schedule at site can be shortened.

Gas consumption

Approx. 20% of gas consumption can be reduced during cooling mode by waste hot water heat recovery.
Another advantage is that under low-load (below 44%) conditions, chiller can be operated by waste hot water only.

Amounts of waste hot water recovered

During partial load operations, priority is given to the use of waste hot water so the amount of steam consumed can be significantly reduced.
