The operating profile of the chillers used for air conditioning over the course of the year is such that they are not usually operated for long periods of time under conditions close to 100% loads. They are normally operated under partial load conditions.
Therefore, improving the energy consumption efficiency of the chillers in line with the fluctuations in the cooling load throughout the year leads to reductions in the amounts of energy consumed annually.
High partial load efficiency absorption chillers feature significantly improved efficiency when operated under partial load conditions compared with standard models, contributing to reduction of the amounts of energy consumed annually.

 

FEATURES OF PARTIAL LOAD HIGH EFFICIENCY EXP SERIES

The high-efficiency type (EX series) incorporating the 2-stage evaporation and absorption cycle are used as a base model of EXP series and by exercising inverter control over the solution pump, the volume of the circulating solution is optimized corresponding to the fluctuating load. The partial load efficiency has been increased by minimizing the heat loss and heat applied (amount of steam consumption) during partial load operation..

ADVANTAGES YIELDED BY THE 2-STAGE EVAPORATION AND ABSORPTION CYCLE

This cycle makes it possible to dilute the concentration of the absorption solution from the absorber to a greater extent than before, and the volume of solution circulating in the overall cycle to be reduced as a result. Reducing the solution volume enables the heat loss and heat applied by the high-temperature regenerator to be reduced, thus raising the efficiency of the cycle.

COOLING WATER VARIABLE-FLOW SYSTEMS ALSO SUPPORTED: OPTION

The internal cycle of the absorption chiller (temperature, pressure, and concentration of the high-temperature generator) is monitored, and while maintaining the appropriate operating status, the appropriate variable-flow signals are output to the variable flow inverter of the cooling water pump.
